AMERICAN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY’S  Q&A

  1. How does your company work?

How American Employment Agency works for you

AEA will assess your needs, recruit qualified candidates, handle the background screening and act as liaison during the entire process, saving you time in the hiring of a new employee.

Recruiting and Qualifying a Candidate

  • AEA will search for qualified candidates and take care to carefully pre-screen them before sending their information forward for consideration.
  • Upon your selection and approval of a candidate for possible hire, AEA will further screen the candidate by conducting a criminal background, social security trace, employment verification and references. *Additional screening can be done as needed.
  • What types of placement services do you offer?
  •  Permanent Placement will provide employers with their own long-term employee from their first day forward as a member of their team.
  • Temporary to Permanent is a 90-Day temporary employment period. After the 90 days, the company has the option to offer the temp. employee a permanent position with them.
  • Temporary provides the employer with staff for a temporary time-period based upon the needs of the company.

3How do your placement fees work?

Three types of fees: Permanent, Temporary and Temporary to Permanent Placement Fees to fit your individual needs

  •  Permanent Placement fees are determined based upon the employees projected first year’s gross earnings.
  • Temporary Placement fees are determined based upon a billing rate of the temporary employee’s hourly salary plus a mark-up.
  • Temporary to Permanent fees are determined the same as with Temporary Placement fees. After 90 days of temporary employment, the company has the option to hire the temporary employee on a permanent basis. Once the temporary employee is transitioned to work for the hiring company, there is no further charge.

All Placement Fees are paid by the hiring company.

  1. Is there a guarantee if the permanent employee doesn’t meet expectations?
  •  If a Permanent Placement employee leaves for any reason during the first 90 days of employment, there is a 90 Day Guarantee to replace one time at no further charge.
  1. Is there a contract or obligation to hire an employee from AEA?
  •  There is a Placement Agreement when using the services of American Employment Agency
  • There is no obligation to hire an employee from AEA

American Employment Agency’s Placement Agreement

  • The Placement Agreement outlines the terms of using American Employments Agency’s services and will be signed by a person with authority from the Hiring Company and by the President of American Employment Agency. Signing the Placement Agreement does not obligate a company to hire a job candidate referred by the agency.  Before signing the agreement any questions or concerns will gladly be addressed and upon approval by signature of both parties, American Employment will begin the process of recruiting, screening, interviewing and helping with on-boarding for the job opening.
